Sanshin - Unvarnished Neck (B)

Buy

Description

The sanshin's棹 (neck) has no lacquer.
The previous owner removed the lacquer, so there are white spots remaining in places. Also, the猿尾 (headstock) appears to have been painted black for use.

The sanshin type is Makabe-gata, and the wood is likely Nanyō Tetsuwood or a miscellaneous hardwood.

Recommended for those who want to study lacquering themselves or who want to paint and use it in their favorite color.
